About The Position

About the team: The service center focuses on meeting the operational targets, maintaining strong customer relations, and representing ZF Marine in the local marine community. What you can look forward to as a Regional Service Supervisor: Provide dedicated supervisory coverage to ensure effective daily service coordination, technical escalation, field service responsiveness, training support, and operational continuity. Supervise service team operations at assigned facilities through implementation of service plans, commissioning, upgrades, and support procedures. Ensure maintainability, reliability, and availability of end-of-line and related test systems. Lead and direct service engineers and technicians in the installation, maintenance, and support of test equipment. Evaluate service operations and develop or modify work instructions to improve efficiency and service quality. Monitor team performance, maintain service budgets and records, and make staffing and performance recommendations. Assign and manage projects, track timelines, and ensure timely completion to meet operational and customer requirements. Support internal departments with business development, capacity planning, and continuous improvement to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years progressive marine industry experience and/or training; or 12+ years marine industry experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and training.
  • Product knowledge, marine industry experience, and a verifiable management track record required, along with experience in a supervisory or lead position.
  • Technical, mechanical aptitude needed.
  • Must take a leadership role within the organization, possess a strong work ethic, be capable of multi-tasking, and be an innovative self-starter who can work well under pressure.
  • Must be versatile with Windows based spreadsheet, database software and possess strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills and the ability to build teamwork and cooperation among the workgroup are essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within logistics.
  • Extensive experience with interpreting and manipulating large amounts of supply chain data.
