About The Position

Sitemetric is seeking a resourceful and experienced security leader to guide our operations across the Southeast Region. The Regional Security Manager – Southeast Region will oversee daily security operations at multiple project sites, supporting field teams and ensuring alignment with company standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements. Reporting to the National Director of Security Operations, this position ensures consistent, high-quality delivery of Sitemetric’s security services while driving compliance, operational readiness, and team development. The ideal candidate is an adaptable, hands-on leader capable of building trust with clients, resolving challenges quickly, and maintaining a solutions-focused approach in fast-paced environments. As the Regional Security Manager – Southeast Region, you will oversee all security operations across assigned projects within the state and neighboring areas. You will ensure each site operates in compliance with Sitemetric’s policies, state licensing requirements, and client contractual obligations. Your leadership will be vital in developing field teams, maintaining operational excellence, evaluating performance, and coordinating closely with clients and other departments — including Safety, Operations, and Technology — to deliver integrated, technology-driven site security. This role is remote-based in North Carolina and will include regular travel to projects and client facilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in security management or law enforcement; construction or industrial experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of North Carolina state security regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Demonstrated success leading multi-site or regional teams.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build trust and maintain productive relationships with clients and internal partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and incident management or scheduling platforms.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the region (up to 50%) and respond to urgent site needs.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Must pass pre-employment background screening and drug test
  • Must meet North Carolina’s Qualifying Agent (QA) requirements and pass North Carolina’s QA Exam for certification. North Carolina requires QAs to have 6,000 hours of compensated experience as a manager, supervisor, or administrator in a contract security or armored car company.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the construction, law enforcement or physical security industries
  • Professional certifications in training, security, or compliance (e.g., CPTM, CPP, etc)
  • Previous North Carolina Qualified Manager certification
  • Knowledge of access control, incident reporting, and electronic security systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and operational reporting in fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and support site-level security operations teams within the Northeast Region.
  • Serve as Sitemetric’s Qualified Manager/Agent for North Carolina private security licensing and maintain compliance with state mandated responsibilities and requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to Sitemetric’s policies, procedures, and state-mandated security requirements.
  • Conduct regular site audits and risk assessments; implement corrective actions when required.
  • Serve as the primary regional security point of contact for clients, resolving security issues and ensuring service satisfaction.
  • Design and deliver job-specific training for employees performing security services.
  • Promote communication and operational consistency between field sites and the corporate Security team.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and support for safety and access control protocols.
  • Track incident trends, reporting metrics, and performance indicators to identify improvements.
  • Support onboarding, training, and professional development initiatives for site security staff.
  • Manage regional resource plans and budgets aligned with operational needs.
  • Respond to incidents, emergencies, and high-priority client issues as required. Support onboarding processes by integrating security training into new employee orientation.
  • Uphold Sitemetric’s customer service and professionalism standards at all times.
