About The Position

LUV Car Wash, founded in Sept of 2021, has rapidly grown to over 80 locations in 6 states (CA, NV, FL, GA, PA, and NJ). The company is looking to add a Regional Sales Trainer to its growing team to help continue its mission to become the best car wash in the industry. This role involves assessing sales team skill levels and training needs, developing and conducting training sessions both in-person and virtually, and monitoring the effectiveness of training programs. The Regional Sales Trainer will provide ongoing coaching and support to sales advisors, collaborate with general managers and district managers to implement sales strategies, and stay updated on industry trends and best practices in sales training. A significant portion of the role (80% of time) will be spent in the field at car wash locations, providing on-site performance coaching, modeling effective 'soft sell' pitches and objection handling. The trainer will also be responsible for team leadership, including recruiting, hiring, and training sales-oriented attendants, managing scheduling, and tracking regional KPIs such as conversion rates, revenue management, and churn. The position requires a master of short-cycle, face-to-face selling, with a keen ability to teach sales representatives how to close a sale quickly.

Requirements

  • High school education
  • 5+ years of experience in sales management, specifically leading a team of sales reps
  • Strong background in sales and training, with in-depth knowledge of sales and processes
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in using various training tools and technologies
  • Must be willing to drive to locations up to 75% of the time
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during training sessions and events
  • Capability to perform outdoor training sessions, which may involve exposure to varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Assessing the sales teams skill levels and training needs
  • Manage the process of employee terminations and handle the necessary documentation
  • Partner with hiring managers and recruiters to assess staffing needs
  • Enforce disciplinary measures as necessary
  • Participate in the candidate selection/interview process for sales advisors
  • Developing training materials, presentations and activities
  • Conducting training sessions either in person or virtually
  • Responsible for obtaining conversion rate and RPC Goals
  • Boost member engagement at designated site locations
  • Develop sales strategies to achieve company membership churn goals
  • Monitor and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs
  • Providing ongoing coaching and support to sales advisors
  • Collaborating with general managers and district managers to implement sales strategies and initiatives
  • Keeping up to date on industry trends and best practices in sales training
  • Traveling to different locations within the region to deliver training sessions with sales advisors
  • On-Site Performance Coaching: Spend 80% of time in the field at car wash locations, working alongside sales reps to model effective "soft sell" pitches and objection handling
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, and train sales-oriented attendants. Manage scheduling to ensure peak hours are fully staffed with top-performing closers
  • KPI Management: Track and report on regional metrics including conversion rates, Revenue management, and churn
  • Sales Skills: Master of short-cycle, face-to-face selling. Keen ability to teach reps how to close a sale in under 60 seconds
  • Demonstrate current competencies applicable to the job position
