The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with deep knowledge of hospice care, strong business acumen, and a passion for serving patients and families.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare sales, with at least 2 years in hospice or post-acute care.
Proven track record of leading successful sales teams and driving revenue growth.
Strong understanding of hospice regulations, referral dynamics, and payer sources.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel within the division as needed.

Nice To Haves

CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce, Homecare Homebase).
Strategic planning and territory management.

Responsibilities

Manage onboarding, training and performance of hospice sales representatives.
Conduct regular field rides, one-on-one coaching sessions, and team meetings.
Establish clear performance expectations and accountability for census and referral growth.
Foster a culture of ethical sales practices aligned with hospice philosophy and compliance standards.
Develop and execute regional sales plans to achieve and exceed census and revenue targets.
Analyze market trends, referral patterns, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
Collaborate with clinical, operations, and leadership teams to support smooth admissions and care transitions.
Monitor pipeline activity and ensure consistent prospecting and follow-up.
Partner with clinical and operational leaders to ensure seamless patient transitions and high-quality care delivery.
Collaborate on service line expansion and territory optimization.
Ensure all sales activities comply with federal, state, and company regulations.
Provide regular reporting on sales performance, market trends, and competitive intelligence.
