Ossid is seeking a highly motivated Regional Sales Manager to drive machinery sales within the Southeast territory (East Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, and Florida). This role will be based in Atlanta, Georgia, or another strategic location within the assigned territory, and will report directly to the Strategic Accounts Manager. Ossid, based in Battleboro, NC is a leading manufacturer of leak-proof tray sealing for case-ready proteins to flexible packaging for healthcare, Ossid packaging solutions are ideal for fresh and processed meats, convenience foods, consumer goods, and medical devices. Ossid manufactures industry-leading tray overwrappers and sealers, weigh/price-labeling equipment, case scales, and horizontal thermoform fill seal machinery for companies of all sizes. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in a technical or business discipline preferred, or equivalent industry experience
  • Proven technical sales expertise, including persuasive presentation, problem-solving, and facilitation skills
  • Strong ability to articulate complex machinery concepts in clear, concise terms
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with professional presentation capabilities
  • Self-starter mindset with the capacity to operate independently and adapt to market dynamics
  • Willingness to travel 40–60% of the time; valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with CRM platforms, specifically Salesforce

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and maintain profitable relationships with end users, channel partners, and independent agents across the Southeast region
  • Collect and analyze critical data to evaluate prospective projects and tailor solutions to customer needs
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals, including pricing, delivery schedules, and technical specifications
  • Negotiate contract terms to achieve mutually beneficial agreements
  • Facilitate post-sale administrative processes—coordinating specifications, product samples, and internal resources to ensure seamless order fulfillment
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design optimal solutions and align pricing strategy
  • Deliver expert technical and commercial insights during customer engagements
  • Operate independently with a strong work ethic and minimal supervision
  • Represent Ossid at industry trade shows, conferences, and customer events
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, records, and performance reports
