Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and/or territory/region on products or services. Establishes professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts. Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars. This position will cover the northeast territory in the US (from Columbus Ohio to Maine) and will be remote, with 40% to 50% of traveling within those territories (mainly Boston, NY, Washington DC, Philadelphia, and Pennsylvania).

Requirements

  • BS in Business, Marketing, or related fields. Engineering careers are a plus.
  • 5-7 years of outside sales experience in an industrial business is a must.
  • On-site experience within the Oil and Gas industry is a must.
  • Experience in CRMs, Salesforce preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Deep knowledge of flow metering and water/wastewater applications is a plus.
  • Expert on flow-metering technology and products is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing a sales strategy that results in revenue growth in the region.
  • Building relationships and effectively communicating the benefits and value of McCrometer’s metering solutions.
  • Setting sales goals with channel partners and working collaboratively with them to ensure achievement and sustainment.
  • Utilizing and updating the CRM system (Salesforce) with accurate data to effectively manage the funnel of opportunities.
  • Preparing sales reports and sales forecasts.
  • Attending trade shows and industry conferences to stay abreast of market developments and serve as an ambassador of McCrometer’s solutions.
  • Educating customers, dealers, and distributors on the product portfolio and value proposition.
  • Following up on customer issues and collaborating cross-functionally to help resolve problems.
