POSITION SUMMARY The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving production and revenue within a designated territory. The primary objective is to grow market share, acquire new correspondent clients, deepen existing relationships, and consistently exceed production and revenue goals. DESCRIPTION Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities Develop and execute a territory sales plan aligned with corporate volume, client activity, and market penetration goals. Identify and pursue new market opportunities, including expanding network of correspondent clients Evaluate client or prospective client needs and requirements to identify and promote company products and services which demonstrate the company's value proposition and facilitate enhanced business performance. Maintain awareness of competitive landscape, market shifts, and emerging opportunities; translate insights into actionable strategies. Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations, issue resolution, and coordination across internal teams to deliver a smooth correspondent experience. Partner with internal stakeholders (Capital Markets, Sales, Operations, Underwriting, etc.) to align client needs with organizational goals Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations, issue resolution, and coordination across internal teams to deliver a smooth correspondent experience. Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and client events. Other duties as directed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent
  • 6+ years of progressive/related experience
  • Minimum 5 years of mortgage banking experience with at least 2 years in correspondent lending sales
  • Knowledge of industry program policies, procedures, regulations, and laws
  • Understanding of correspondent execution, pricing strategy, and programs
  • Must possess and demonstrate exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail; strong ability to prioritize with a keen sense of urgency.
  • Must allocate one's own time efficiently and must handle multiple demands, competing priorities in fast paced environment.
  • Must create an atmosphere in which timely and high-quality information is shared with team members and customers.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to deal with complex difficult problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations.
  • Ability to work with little to no supervision while performing duties.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to travel
  • All employees are required to have smart phones that meet Company security standards with the ability to install apps such as Okta Verify and Microsoft Authenticator. Employment will be contingent on this requirement.
