Job Title: Regional Sales Manager Location: United States Workplace Type: Remote Job Summary Regional Sales Manager responsible for leading and developing a team of Agency Relationship Managers to meet sales and growth objectives, providing coaching, managing performance, and fostering collaboration while ensuring adherence to distribution strategies and reporting to senior leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in insurance sales, distribution, or account management, including 2+ years of leadership responsibilities.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve sales and growth objectives.
  • Demonstrated success managing high-value accounts and building long-term, profitable relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of property and casualty (P&C) insurance products and distribution models.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop actionable strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and other sales-related technologies.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with team members, agents, and strategic partners.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with independent insurance agents, aggregators, and large agency networks.
  • Familiarity with agency management systems and insurance technology platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Hire and develop team of Agency Relationship Managers, ensuring alignment with the HOA/Porch’s growth objectives.
  • Provide daily, hands-on direction, coaching, training and professional development for direct reports.
  • Participate regularly in role plays, sales activities with direct reports to enhance the team's sales proficiency.
  • Provide consistent one-on-one sales coaching and feedback to each direct report to improve performance and align with organizational goals
  • Implement, manage and provide feedback to leadership on best practices, tools, and scalable processes to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the distribution strategy.
  • Ensure execution of the Agency distribution and growth strategy including adherence to standard operating procedures and usage of approved tools and resources.
  • Manage team performance in achieving sales goals and activity targets while providing guidance, support, and creating accountability
  • Support a culture of collaboration, innovation, and results across a team of Agency Relationship Managers
  • Report on team and account performance to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Analyze market trends, territory performance, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities for growth and innovation
  • Work closely with underwriting, product development, marketing, and operations teams to align resources and initiatives with distribution and agency needs.
  • Work with direct reports to develop individualized strategies for key accounts, focusing on growth opportunities and serve as the leadership point of contact for escalations ensuring a high level of service and engagement.

Benefits

  • Pay Range: $110,300 - $147,000 Annually
  • Additionally, you will be eligible to receive long-term incentive awards, subject to program guidelines and approvals.
