About The Position

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market presence within Southern California. This role requires developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies that align with company objectives to maximize revenue and market share. The manager will lead and support a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets and enhance customer relationships. A key outcome of this position is to effectively manage sales territories, ensuring optimal coverage and resource allocation to capitalize on business opportunities. Ultimately, the Regional Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in strengthening national accounts and fostering long-term partnerships that contribute to sustained business success.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in handling national accounts ensures the ability to maintain and grow key customer relationships, which is critical for sustained revenue.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in regional or territory sales management.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in auto industry sales environment.
  • Strong knowledge of sales planning, territory management, and sales processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Significant daily travel approx. 75%
  • Must have a valid state driver's license
  • Must have auto insurance
  • Must have dependable vehicle
  • Be able to lift 15 lbs. (laptops and other accessories)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement regional sales plans to achieve or exceed sales volume and revenue targets.
  • Manage and support auto dealer sales channels to optimize product availability and market penetration.
  • Oversee sales territory management, ensuring balanced coverage and effective deployment of sales resources.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with national accounts and key customers to drive repeat business and customer loyalty.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, funding, and customer service to align sales initiatives with overall business goals.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor sales teams to enhance performance and professional development.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Other duties as assigned.
