Requirements

  • 7+ years of sales experience in Academic or Medical sectors preferred
  • Proven ability to travel 70% of the time
  • Strong communication, follow-up, and sales skills
  • Experience with SaaS and information services sales is a plus
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and territory management experience
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and video conferencing technologies

Responsibilities

  • Retention of existing revenue and development of new opportunities to meet sales quotas
  • Collaborate with the sales leadership team to drive strategic initiatives
  • Prepare and deliver compelling pricing proposals and presentations
  • Conduct market analysis and gather insights for product improvement
  • Achieve expert knowledge of product offerings and competitive landscape
  • Develop and implement sales strategies specific to the Northern California region
  • Maintain an average of 30 face-to-face customer visits per month
  • Coordinate trials and support materials with Account Executive
