About The Position

At Medis we believe in empowering medical professionals with our innovative analytical solutions. Our software aims to provide our customers with the insights they need to definitively diagnose and treat cardiovascular disease, at the right time, in the right place. For more than 30 years cardiologists, radiologists, researchers and industry partners worldwide have relied on Medis software, resulting in customers in more than 40 countries. Our headquarters are in Leiden, Netherlands, but we have subsidiaries and branch offices in the USA, Japan, Germany, France and the United Kingdom, as well as distributors and local agents in multiple countries. You will be responsible for maximizing order intake, sales and customer satisfaction whilst developing and optimizing the customer relationship in order to ensure the long-term profitability of the accounts in your territory of the United States. You will contribute to the development and implementation of local marketing strategies. Our CRM is Salesforce and this will need to be maintained by you in order to assist in the analysis in Win & Loss deals, customer satisfaction, the competitive market and trends. For your customers you will ensure that quotations are validated by the business as well as delivered to the customer in a timely manner. You will ensure that customer feedback is relayed within the Medis organization. During trade shows we will expect you to be an active participant as well as during on site presentations and demonstrations. You are the key person as you interact with our customers and ensure the continuity of the relationship within all levels of the customer organization, including with the executive levels. This exciting role allows you to operate at a multi state level.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in complex Medical Device/IT Sales/Account Management (2+ years preferably in Healthcare - hospitals, clinics, cardiology, radiology or imaging centres)
  • Knowledge of healthcare trends, industry standards and successful strategies for hospitals
  • A commercial drive to grow the Medis business in your territory
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • Excellent communication skills, both in written and verbal
  • can-do attitude, energy, drive and determination
  • professional, passionate and confident in speaking and presenting to both small and medium-sized groups
  • pragmatic and hands-on
  • enjoy working both in a team and independently
  • willing to travel frequently
