The Impact You’ll Make in this Role The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for the Packaging Business is responsible for driving profitable growth, leading a high‑performance field sales organization, and expanding market coverage across the assigned region. This role focuses on activating the growth strategy for the Packaging portfolio—particularly the Packaging Systems business—by coaching field and remote sales representatives, strengthening channel and distributor partnerships, and aligning cross‑functional resources to win in the market. The RSM sets regional priorities, builds execution discipline, and ensures strong adoption of Salesforce CRM, time & territory management best practices, and data-driven decision making. This leader collaborates closely with Channel, Portfolio/Marketing, and Distributor Sales Leadership to expand reach, increase share of wallet, and accelerate new customer acquisition. As Regional Sales Manager you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Lead the execution of Packaging growth strategies to accelerate revenue, margin, and market share within the region. Identify key growth drivers, new business opportunities, and territory expansion priorities. Manage forecasting, pipeline health, and performance rhythm with strong use of Salesforce CRM. Sales Team Leadership & Coaching: Directly coach, mentor, and develop field and remote sales representatives and Packaging Specialists. Build excellence in time and territory management, account planning, and disciplined sales execution. Conduct joint field rides, remote deal reviews, and capability development aligned with business targets. Reinforce accountability for activity, pipeline creation, and customer engagement cadence. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Channel, Portfolio/Marketing, Application Engineering, and Customer Operations teams to drive aligned regional execution. Translate business-unit strategy into regional activation plans, ensuring flawless delivery of programs, promotions, and new product introductions. Distributor & Channel Leadership: Manage regional distribution partners to maximize coverage, joint sales activity, and channel-led growth. Engage Distributor Sales Leadership in quarterly business reviews, coverage expansion plans, and execution of Packaging Systems opportunities. Company Vehicle This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Five (5) years of combined experience in sales, channel, marketing, industrial distribution, or B2B field commercial roles in a private, public, government or military environment.
  • One (1) year experience in manufacturing or industrial B2B sales environments.
  • Current, valid Driver’s License.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Packaging Systems, capital equipment, or automation solutions.
  • Strong capability in Key Account Management and customer segmentation.
  • Experience managing distribution or multi-tier channel models.
  • Demonstrated success working in a matrixed or cross-functional environment.
  • Master’s degree from an accredited university.
