About The Position

DNV is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for our Business Assurance North America team. Our sales team is assigned to various regions across the United States and Canada and centrally supported from our Houston office. We sell Risk management Services to include: management system Certification and training to companies of all sizes across multiple industries. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for ensuring that sales targets are achieved by developing contacts and approaching new potential strategic markets and promoting pertinent DNV Business Assurance products/services as per the established sales strategy, tactical and marketing plans. This role is remote based in the United States.

  • Analyze regional market needs and expectations
  • Provide input regarding the definition and implementation of an adequate marketing strategy
  • Ensure that the marketing activities are followed up
  • Ensure that the sales actions are carried out by developing contacts and approaching new potential strategic markets and promoting DNV services as per established market strategy and goals
  • Ensure quarterly sales targets are achieved
  • Visits potential customers to prospect for new business
  • Assess, on a continual basis, the financial results of the activity
  • Provide input regarding price policy for the activities within the Region

Responsibilities

  • Developing sales of certification and training solutions.
  • Maintaining effective and professional relationships and close cooperation with key internal customers and support teams, including client services, account managers, domestic and global sales, technical and operations.
  • Developing sales plans and forecasts for the territory, analyzing regional market needs and expectations, providing input regarding the definition and implementation of an adequate marketing strategy and ensuring that the marketing activities are followed up.
  • Ensuring that the sales actions are carried out by developing contacts and approaching new potential strategic markets and promoting DNV services as per established market strategy and goals.
  • Ensuring quarterly sales targets are achieved.
  • Visiting potential customers to prospect for new business.
  • Assessing, on a continual basis, the financial results of the activity and providing input regarding price policy for the activities within the Region.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the MSC Executive Director of Sales.
