About The Position

We are currently hiring a Regional Safety Manager for one of the top General Contractors in Colorado. This is a great opportunity to lead districtwide safety initiatives with strong leadership support, make a meaningful impact on the safety and well-being of employees, and work with engaged teams committed to proactive safety planning. Job Description Field Safety Engage with employees in the field and office to ensure safe work practices. Lead project safety startup: orientations, JHAs, hazard identification, and daily safety expectations. Conduct regular jobsite walks, correct hazards, and coach teams. Perform monthly safety audits and support incident/near miss investigations. Maintain accurate safety scorecard information. Training & Development Maintain and update the company safety training matrix. Schedule, deliver, and track required safety training for all employees. Support New Hire Safety Training for both salaried and craft employees. Continuously improve safety content and promote safety incentive programs. Preconstruction & Procurement Assist with safety content for RFQs/RFPs. Support preconstruction reviews to identify high risk activities early. Evaluate trade partner safety performance and communicate concerns. Risk Management & Compliance Track and analyze leading/lagging indicators and safety trends. Support claims, insurance coordination, and emergency response planning. Assist with OSHA inspections, regulatory communication, and safety documentation. Prepare required regulatory reports, including the OSHA 300 Log. Continuous Improvement Participate in safety committees and support district safety initiatives. Research and recommend new safety technologies and best practices. Act as a trusted resource for operations and leadership teams.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Safety Management Experience
  • Associate's Degree (Bachelor preferred)
  • Strong communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to influence behaviors and drive continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, ASME, NEC, NFPA, and other applicable regulations
  • Incident Management Experience
  • Ability to travel and walk active jobsites

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications: CSP, CHST, CRIS, OSHA 500, CIT
  • Competent person training in fall protection, scaffolding, and rigging preferred
