About The Position

We are looking for an Experienced Bilingual (Spanish/English) Regional Safety Manager for Southern California! Territory will be Orange County/Inland Empire We are a nationwide temporary staffing firm that specializes in light industrial positions (Manufacturing, Logistics, Production and Distribution). This is not a remote position Responsibilities: Work with staffing branch management at multiple branches to improve safety at client locations Provide periodic health and safety training for company associates who are on assignment at client locations Provide oversight at client locations to address OSHA compliance and safety reporting Perform frequent site inspections of client environments to ensure that work areas, tools and equipment meet established safety requirements Observe associates’ operation of powered industrial equipment for compliance with safe operating guidelines and FEI safety policies Document safety incidents at client locations and assist with accident investigations, following established reporting and recording requirements Coordinate and lead periodic client safety committee meetings, prepare agendas, email invitations, and provide committee minutes for follow up Periodically gather and share data on location incidents rates, restricted duty, and lost time Communicate with worker's comp carrier as needed to ensure cases are managed to completion Ability to participate in management meetings and effectively communicate safety concerns to management Develop, implement, and manage best safety practices and procedures for different client situations Perform all work in accordance with established safety standards and adhere to all safety policies, rules, regulations, and procedures Perform other duties or functions as requested by management or clients with a collaborative and safety-oriented attitude. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and/or minimum of 2 years of safety experience/education required Candidate must be willing to work varied shifts depending on the safety needs of the clients’ locations Position will require occasional safety observations on second or third shifts and possibly a weekend day Ideal applicants will possess hazard recognition skills and the ability to implement corrective action plans Ability to tactfully coach, mentor, and correct unsafe behavior in real time Certifications in OSHA safety procedures preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Strong presentation and writing skills for both internal and external communications Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills Ability to professionally, and confidently, interact with individuals at all levels of the organization Ability to provide leadership to drive a culture of safety Ability to be a self-starter requiring minimal supervision What we Offer: Base salary range of $70k-$72k, contingent on experience. Compensation is determined based on job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. This role may also be eligible for overtime (if non-exempt), bonuses, commissions, or other incentive pay, depending on the position.
