Job Summary Alaska Overview The Alaska segment primarily explores for, produces, transports and markets crude oil, natural gas and NGLs. We are the largest crude oil producer in Alaska and have major ownership interests in the Prudhoe Bay, Kuparuk and Western North Slope asset areas. Additionally, we are one of Alaska’s largest owners of state, federal and fee exploration leases, with approximately one million net undeveloped acres at year-end 2024. Alaska operations contributed 14 percent of our consolidated liquids production and two percent of our consolidated natural gas production. Position Overview The Regional Security Records & Information Analyst manages the full lifecycle of physical and digital records for the Alaska Business Unit, ensuring accurate classification, secure storage, compliant disposition, and reliable access to information. The role supports eSearch administration, off site storage operations, microfilm management, and RIM training, while also providing essential Security Operations support—including incident response and audit readiness—and delivering Site Support through deskside and hardware troubleshooting to keep users and systems operating effectively.

Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • 3 or more years of direct experience in troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Office 365 applications
  • Willing and able (with or without accommodation) to lift and move equipment up to 30 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operation of the Digital & Physical Records Management Program to ensure staff and external parties have timely access to required information.
  • Review, classify, and prepare records for onsite and offsite storage, ensuring correct retention coding, accurate transfer lists, proper boxing, and identification of destruction eligible material.
  • Manage data tables to records databases (e.g. eSearch), including updates, testing, system access reviews, and coordination during upgrades.
  • Maintain local Records Management procedures and workflows to ensure alignment with global policies and BU needs.
  • Provide physical and electronic record support for Data Rooms
  • Provide practical RIM training to employees, supporting both BU level training and ad hoc instruction for individuals in RIM roles.
  • Develop and support yearly RIM strategies and ROC (Records Organizational Campaign) initiatives across field and office locations.
  • Provide support for legal and regulatory compliance efforts, including audit support
  • Provide regional assistance, as required, to assist with the incident management and response process.
  • Provide support for the facilitation of Risk Management processes for Alaska
  • Provide deskside and remote support for Personal Computing environments at the ConocoPhillips Anchorage location
  • Perform technical support, assembly, installation, repairs, and moving of computers, mobile devices, printers, and peripheral hardware assemblies, and maintain hardware inventories for on-site and remote computer support to end users.
