The Regional Program Director provides strategic and operational oversight for multiple projects across the region, encompassing projects in various phases of construction as well as pre-construction activities. This role is responsible for driving program performance through effective leadership, operational management, stakeholder coordination, and resource alignment. The position ensures projects are delivered with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, safety, and compliance, while leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing project teams. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Strategic Leadership : Project Oversight: Supervise Project Managers and multiple construction projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and budgets. Strategic Planning: Develop long-term construction strategies and plans to achieve company objectives. Operational Management : Resource Allocation: Oversee resource planning, including manpower, equipment, and materials. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to safety, cost, and project delivery. Budget Control: Manage budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure cost-effective project execution. Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to all legal, regulatory, and safety requirements. Stakeholder Coordination : Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to maintain strong relationships and ensure project success. Quality and Efficiency : Quality Assurance: Ensure all construction activities meet or exceed quality standards. Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve processes to enhance efficiency and productivity. Reporting & Communication Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates to executive leadership, highlighting project status, risks, and opportunities. Problem Solving: Act as the primary escalation point for resolving major project challenges Team Leadership : Monitor and provide effective performance feedback to team members through recognition, coaching, and progressive discipline with the assistance for the group HR Business Partner. Provide proper flow of communication from upper management to team members and vice versa. Staff Development: Lead and mentor project managers, superintendents, and other team members. Employee Engagement: Foster a productive work environment by motivating and supporting staff. Business Development: Support regional business development efforts by identifying growth opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and partnering with leadership on pursuit strategies, proposals, and transition of awarded work, while maintaining successful execution of current programs. Ensure program compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and company policies Visit project sites on a regular basis. Work with other departments within the company and business units as required. Other duties as assigned.
