About The Position

The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for the leadership, standardization, and continuous improvement of warehouse operations, inventory control, and material movement across assigned regional sites in the South West United States. This role ensures inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and alignment with corporate standards while driving consistency, collaboration, and accountability across all warehouse and inventory workflows. The role supervises up to 20 members of staff across several warehouses in Southern California and Nevada.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, supply chain, or inventory management; multi site experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to standardize processes and drive operational excellence across diverse locations.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Dynamics.
  • Hands on experience with Warehouse Management System and scanning and barcoding systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and cross functional leadership skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents. Ability to draft reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers. The ability to speak Spanish fluently is recommended.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, weight, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to travel periodically to regional warehouse locations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee regional execution of inventory control processes, including receiving, put away, transfers, adjustments, cycle counts, and physical inventories.
  • Monitor inventory variances, lead root cause analyses, and drive corrective actions to maintain accuracy and data integrity.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of all system transactions within regional warehouses.
  • Partner with Inventory Control leadership to determine appropriate weeks of supply levels and ensure replenishment processes are followed consistently.
  • Direct all receiving, warehousing, staging, picking, packing, shipping, and returns activities at Southwest regional locations.
  • Promote consistency in warehouse layout, bin logic, FIFO/FEFO practices, scanning workflows, and material flow processes across regions.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate SOPs, safety standards, QC procedures, and non conformance handling.
  • Oversight of Warehouse Management System and scanning systems
  • Evaluate warehouse staffing, equipment needs, and workflow efficiency; recommend improvements and resource allocations as needed.
  • Conduct periodic operational audits of regional warehouses, identifying gaps, local knowledge, and process deviations.
  • Lead efforts to standardize processes across sites to support scalable, repeatable warehouse operations companywide.
  • Implement improvements, documentation updates, and training initiatives.
  • Serve as the key operational liaison between regional warehouses, Inventory Control, Production, Sales, and corporate leadership.
  • Support material request workflows, replenishment, inter warehouse transfers, and site to site coordination.
  • Provide timely reporting on KPIs, inventory trends, warehouse performance, and operational risks.
  • Train regional warehouse teams on operational procedures, system usage, safety requirements, and SOP updates.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate operational updates, expectations, and best practices clearly and consistently across regional teams.
