About The Position

The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for achieving the region’s profit margins and revenues and will be involved in all strategies and issues affecting the region’s operations and customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or relevant field is preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of successful experience in an operations management role, preferably in a related industry.
  • Minimum of two years of management experience with a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
  • Strong business acumen with an ability to understand and communicate SouthernCarlson’s business marketplace and value proposition.
  • Strong analytical and solid judgment skills with proven problem-solving capability.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated computer skills in Word, Excel and web navigation.
  • Ability to travel throughout region on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and tactical leadership to branch operations within the region.
  • Partner with the Divisional or Regional Sales Manager to drive overall performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop Branch Managers to enhance leadership effectiveness and team performance.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement across all branches.
  • Collaborate with operational and corporate teams to review procedures, streamline processes, and enhance efficiency.
  • Direct the implementation and execution of operational policies, practices, and compliance standards across all branches.
  • Analyze and resolve complex operational challenges at both the strategic and branch level.
  • Establish and achieve performance objectives for regional operations teams.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly regional performance reports to leadership.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor action plans to address performance issues and ensure sustainable results.
  • Foster a safe, customer-focused, and service-driven work environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
