About The Position

The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence across Moncler’s West Coast region, including the United States, Mexico, and Hawaii. This role ensures disciplined, consistent, and high-performing store operations that enable strong commercial results and an elevated client experience. Operating as the operational counterpart to the Vice President of Retail, this position owns end-to-end execution across the store lifecycle, openings, daily operations, and transitions, while translating business priorities into clear, structured, and actionable standards for the field. This is a high-visibility role within the Americas organization, offering direct exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to contribute to a fast-evolving retail landscape. The position is designed for a strong operator with the ambition and capability to grow into broader regional leadership over time.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in retail operations.
  • Minimum of 3 years supporting multi-unit or regional environments.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and store systems.
  • Ability to connect operational execution to sales performance and client experience.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail systems; experience with labor management tools preferred.
  • Ability to travel regularly between stores within the assigned region.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during store visits and operational support.
  • Ability to move throughout retail environments, including stockrooms and back-of-house areas.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials up to 20 lbs. as needed.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer or during meetings.
  • Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, and mobile devices.
  • Ability to travel by air for store openings, business meetings, and corporate alignment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within luxury, premium, or high-volume retail environments strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience supporting store openings, operational execution, and field-based teams.
  • SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own operational performance across all stores within the region, ensuring consistent execution of standards across front and back of house.
  • Act as the primary operational leader for the field, providing structure, direction, and rapid issue resolution.
  • Maintain regular in-store presence to assess execution, identify gaps, and reinforce standards.
  • Ensure consistent operational discipline, organization, and readiness across all stores.
  • Lead operations across a geographically and culturally diverse region, adapting execution to local market dynamics, business needs, and regulatory environments.
  • At times, support the outlet division, as needed.
  • Lead and execute new store openings, relocations, pop-ups, and closures across the region.
  • Own the critical path and timelines, ensuring all cross-functional deliverables are met (Retail, VM, Merchandising, IT, HR, Facilities).
  • Oversee full operational setup (systems, inventory, supplies, staffing readiness, compliance).
  • Ensure structured handover to Store Directors, with clear ownership, expectations, and follow-up plans.
  • Manage product movement and consolidations, ensuring inventory integrity, process compliance, and minimal disruption.
  • Deliver on-site operational training to ensure store teams are set up for success.
  • Provide on-site leadership during key openings and transitions to ensure flawless execution.
  • Ensure operational readiness for high-volume, flagship, and resort-driven markets, adapting setups to seasonal demand (including Hawaii).
  • Drive adherence to all operational procedures and company standards.
  • Oversee inventory management, including stock flow, transfers, consolidations, and physical inventory execution.
  • Ensure all store systems and omni capabilities are fully operational and effectively utilized.
  • Manage vendor relationships and operational supplies, ensuring stores are fully equipped and aligned with sustainability commitments.
  • Support management of operational budgets related to store performance.
  • Maintain operational readiness for peak periods, campaigns, and in-store events.
  • Forecast uniform and packaging needs to support business continuity.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, operational regulations, and company policies across all markets.
  • Partner closely with the Regional Director to ensure operational execution supports sales and KPI delivery (Sales, CVR, UPT, Retention).
  • Identify and resolve operational barriers impacting performance and client experience.
  • Support optimization of staffing models, scheduling, and floor deployment aligned with business needs.
  • Reinforce role clarity and execution on the sales floor to enable strong client engagement and conversion.
  • Establish and maintain clear, structured communication to the field, ensuring consistency and understanding.
  • Partner cross-functionally (Finance, Loss Prevention, Logistics, Store Planning, Merchandising, HR) to simplify and standardize processes.
  • Own key operational tools, including the Retail Calendar, trackers, and reporting routines.
  • Identify recurring issues and implement practical, scalable solutions.
  • Liaise with HQ counterparts on local project implementation and execution.
  • Act as a credible and influential field leader, building strong relationships with Store Directors and teams.
  • Coach and develop store leadership to strengthen operational discipline, execution, and accountability.
  • Maintain a high level of objectivity, using data, KPIs, and in-store observations to drive decision-making.
  • Deliver clear, direct feedback, holding teams accountable while supporting development.
  • Demonstrate readiness to take on increased scope and leadership responsibility over time.
