About The Position
This position is responsible and accountable for the operations of an assigned geographic area.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in business related field or equivalent business experience
- 5 years of experience as terminal manager experience in transportation
- 8 years of operations experience in transportation
- Effective organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction of all operational matters to drive revenue growth and profitability
- Hire, discipline, evaluate, and mentor Terminal Managers
- Oversee the entire operations for assigned area
- Accountable for all product delivery
- Enforce company policies
- Responsible for terminal P&Ls.
- Review profit and loss with terminal managers, guide them on improving profit
- Accountable for driver scheduling and truck utilization
- Assist, support, and direct managers in the completion of their tasks
- Identify and develop new leadership for succession planning
