About The Position

As a Regional Manager, you will be responsible for managing an assigned portfolio of residential communities. Your role involves making decisions to maximize income, minimize expenses, and achieve overall objectives for the communities in your region. You will oversee financial budgeting and reporting, as well as marketing and leasing efforts for all apartment communities in your portfolio. The Regional Manager is also responsible for hiring, training, mentoring, and leading on-site professionals. This includes planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; addressing conflicts; and resolving issues. The primary focus includes overseeing property operations to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, professionally representing the Company with clients, employees, residents, and vendors, assisting with budget preparation, monitoring monthly budget variances, providing written evaluations of significant income and expense line items, suggesting capital improvements, and approving invoices for timely payment. To meet the challenges of a growing business, ZRS is seeking skilled professionals who are highly motivated team players with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, possessing strong customer service, organizational, and technical skills.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a regional manager in residential property management with supervisory/management experience
  • College degree desired
  • Must have valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record & proof of automobile insurance coverage
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Demonstrate excellent computer skills

  • Knowledge of property management software, such as, Onesite, Yardi, RealPage, Knock, RentCafe, Resman, etc.
  • Knowledge of business practices and principles
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
  • Ability to cope with stress in a composed manner
  • Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to provide timely and accurate response to clients, Upper Management and the various Corporate depts
  • Experience in developing property budgets, as well as dealing with complex operational matters on a daily basis
