About The Position

As a Regional Manager, you are expected to lead the progress of daily projects, quality metrics, and time reporting to create a high-performing work environment. This will include managing 12-18 field data specialists within a northern region, as their direct reporting manager. This is a leadership position within the operations department.

Requirements

  • Strong people leadership skills with experience managing remote field-based employees.
  • Operational judgment with real-time field support.
  • Demonstrated expertise in management and evaluation of field performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfort traveling to meet field team members and working in outdoor, field-based environments when needed.

Nice To Haves

  • 6+ months of experience in operational or relatable roles.
  • Prior experience as a Field Data Specialist, Regional Manager, or similar supportive role in which you were expected to carry out daily and monthly needs of operations leadership.
  • Experience with CRM systems, outlook, excel, and mobile field technology.
  • Experience with remote leadership. Experience in mapping, surveying, floor plans, site plans, or blueprints is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

  • In charge of reviewing and approving timesheets for payroll, bi-weekly one-on-one conversations with their team members, regional meetings, and the overall performance and morale of their region.
  • Work closely with the Logistics, CAD, and QA managers to work through problems that relate to your field team members.
  • Measure field team effectiveness using performance data, quality metrics, and quality assurance feedback.
  • Travel to field team member locations once a year to meet and support their progress.
  • Serve as an additional subject matter expert for field processes, tools, and standards to support operations executive leadership initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver daily reports on scheduled projects, submissions, and daily goals.
  • Reports to and keeps the VP of Operations aware of field successes, concerns, and the well-being of each FDS in the region.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to field compliance.
  • Complete annual performance reviews for each of your team members.
  • Hold team members accountable for not meeting metrics and company expectations.
  • Works with Controller/finance to track worker’s compensation claims.
  • Complete HR-related paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
