About The Position

This position is responsible for leading and overseeing quality improvement initiatives within hospitals across an assigned region. This role manages a team of Quality Improvement Advisors (QIAs) to ensure the delivery of effective technical assistance, successful achievement of project goals, and compliance with all deliverables. Acting as the primary point of accountability for performance within the assigned setting, the Manager collaborates with state and regional leadership teams to standardize processes, identify opportunities for improvement, resolve challenges, and align interventions with organizational and project-wide objectives. Additionally, this position is accountable for developing and implementing partner engagement strategies, fostering and maintaining strong relationships with state, regional, and national partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in public administration, public policy, public health, Nursing, or a related field, required.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations, CMS quality measures, and accreditation standards for clinician offices.
  • Advanced knowledge of quality improvement methodologies, such as the Model for Improvement, PDSA cycles, and RCA.
  • Must reside in AK, MT, WY, ND, SD, UT, WA or a bordering state.
  • 15 years' healthcare experience
  • 3 years of previous supervisory and/or leadership experience preferred.

  • Attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Licensed RN, LPN, or MSW, PHARMD, preferred AND CPHQ/quality improvement experience or operational leadership in a hospital setting.
