About The Position

Regional Maintenance Specialist Ideal candidate will reside in Honolulu The Regional Maintenance Specialist will provide support to our senior living communities across the Hawaii market Pay Range 90000 95000 Oakmont Senior Living is a recognized leader in the retirement industry and strives to create an atmosphere of family and community among staff residents and resident family members Our belief and our mission are to treat each member of our community with respect and compassion Our staff is hand selected for their skills previous experience and passion for working with the elderly Our practice is to incorporate joy and laughter alongside our expectations of excellence The Regional Maintenance Specialist is responsible for serving as a Maintenance Director in the absence of a communitys Maintenance Director This position is responsible for planning organizing developing performing and directing the general operating maintenance repair and housekeeping of the physical plant the interior and exterior of the Community to maintain proper operations of the property Will oversee the general operations of the maintenance department and housekeeping department to ensure that the property is maintained in a safe clean and comfortable manner in accordance with property policies and procedures Additionally they will be responsible for the hiring evaluating coordinating motivating monitoring performance scheduling and supervising the department staff and will make recommendations to the Executive Director with respect to staff evaluations merit pay increases reprimands disciplinary actions and terminations

Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Prefer minimum two 2 years experience in residential maintenance andor housekeeping handling the upkeep repair and maintenance of electrical plumbing and structural matters
  • Knowledge of building construction budgeting expense management preventative maintenance software and basic computer skills
  • Prefer at least one 1 year experience supervising and managing employees
