About The Position

The Regional HR Manager, Ace Home Services is a strategic partner to several businesses within the Ace Home Services Southeast region footprint, based in our Atlanta, Georgia business location and reporting to the Ace Hardware Home Services Leader of HR. This role will operate as a trusted advisor, directing, and developing an HR agenda that closely supports the business. This role is accountable for working directly with all levels of leadership within the service business(es) by promoting, communicating, and implementing people and culture strategies and initiatives. This role will act as a team member champion and change agent, along with assessing and anticipating HR-related needs. This role will also provide guidance on employment law and best people practices. This position is a hybrid role; (1-2) days a week out of our Alpharetta, GA office. (3) days a week at home. In addition, there will be some occasional travel required to other out of state offices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field, preferred
  • 7+ years’ Human Resource experience; experience in the Services industry strongly preferred
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communications, research, negotiations, persuasion, analytical, problem solving, resourcefulness and influential staff development skills.
  • Detail orientated self-starter able to handle heavy, priority shifting workload with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a high-pressure environment.
  • Goal-orientated and detail-orientated.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to create effective relationships throughout the organization with both rank & file as well as upper management.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Consultation skills, conflict resolution skills

Responsibilities

  • Assists in driving the HR component of the business and people strategies through planning, developing, and implementing HR initiatives that increase productivity competence, and effectiveness.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor and HR subject matter expert with functional leaders in areas such as organization assessment, succession planning, organizational structure, and work force planning to strengthen overall organizational capability.
  • Partners with all levels of the business to resolve employee relations, provides coaching on performance management and advises on talent development.
  • Partners and leads HR initiatives with HR shared services teams (Recruitment, HRIS, Compensation, Compliance, Benefits, Organizational Development)
  • Partners with business on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning and skills assessment.
  • Provides proactive coaching, consultation, and direction to management in areas of staffing, employee relations, policy administration performance management and overall organizational effectiveness.
  • Identifies, recommends, shares, and implements new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
  • Leads evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals.
