About The Position

The Regional Director of Human Resources is a strategic, people -focused leader responsible for overseeing all HR functions across multiple locations within an assigned region. This role partners closely with executive leadership and operations to align people strategies with business goals, ensure full compliance with employment laws, and cultivate a high -performance, inclusive culture. This leader will oversee regional HR teams, guide employee relations and compliance efforts, and help scale HR programs that support a high -volume, service -driven workforce. This is a hybrid role. (2 days remote, 3 days onsite)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Leadership, or related field
  • 7–10+ years of progressive HR experience, including multi -site and multi -state leadership supporting high -volume hourly workforces
  • Prior experience supervising HR managers, generalists, or field HR partners
  • Strong knowledge of federal and multi -state employment laws, including wage and hour regulations, leave administration, and scheduling compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to lead investigations, manage employee relations matters, and guide corrective action processes with sound judgment
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate HR professionals
  • Experience managing HR operations in high -turnover, safety -sensitive, customer -facing environments
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency using HRIS systems and HR data to inform decisions
  • Ability to partner effectively with executives and operational leaders to drive workforce planning, staffing strategy, and culture initiatives
  • Strong change management and organizational development capabilities across diverse locations
  • Excellent communication, executive presence, and relationship -building skills
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality

Nice To Haves

  • SPHR, SHRM -SCP, or comparable certification
  • Experience supporting California employment law environments or multi -state regions that include California
  • Experience in parking, hospitality, transportation, facilities management, or other 24/7 service -driven industries
  • Demonstrated strategic mindset with a proactive, forward -thinking approach to HR leadership and organizational planning
  • Strong process improvement orientation with a track record of optimizing HR operations and driving efficiency
  • Data -driven decision maker with experience applying analytics to HR strategy, workforce planning, and performance outcomes
  • Broad HR leadership experience across multiple states and diverse workforce populations
  • Experience collaborating closely with executive leadership teams and influencing senior -level stakeholders
  • Familiarity with leadership and team development frameworks such as the Tuckman Model
  • Proven ability to balance compliance rigor with operational agility in complex environments

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on workforce strategy, organizational design, and change initiatives
  • Translate corporate HR initiatives into regionally effective programs and practices
  • Lead, coach, and develop regional HR teams to ensure consistent, high -quality support across all locations
  • Partner with the CHRO on company -wide initiatives and policy development
  • Promote a service -driven culture aligned with hospitality and operational excellence standards
  • Oversee employee relations matters, investigations, corrective actions, and performance management processes
  • Ensure fair, objective, and compliant handling of workplace issues
  • Partner with legal counsel and HR leadership to mitigate risk and support employees appropriately
  • Review and approve disciplinary actions, terminations, and performance improvement plans
  • Conduct compliance audits and implement proactive corrective strategies
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for leaders on wage/hour, scheduling, timekeeping, and workplace regulations
  • Strengthen employee experience and engagement across regional locations
  • Support retention initiatives through surveys, action planning, and feedback analysis
  • Conduct stay and exit interviews to identify trends and opportunities
  • Promote inclusive practices and a positive workplace environment
  • Manage Regional Recruiting Partners and regional HR staff
  • Provide coaching, goal setting, performance feedback, and development planning
  • Ensure consistent policy interpretation and implementation across all sites
  • Foster collaboration, accountability, and alignment across the regional HR function
