About The Position
Nevoya is North America's leading next-generation electric trucking carrier, transforming logistics through AI-native operations and relentless customer focus. The company builds and uses proprietary technology to deliver zero-emissions carrier services to Fortune 500 shippers with superior economics and service to legacy diesel operators. Regional GMs report directly to Nevoya's CEO, taking ownership of P&L and day to day operations across one of our busy California regions (e.g. NorCal, SoCal) with the mission of delivering income and utilization growth across our fleet. Regional GMs operate like functional CEOs of a region, building our operations autonomously with a mixture of shared and centralized resources across transportation (dispatch, drivers), GTM, product/engineering, and more.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
- 5+ years of experience of demonstrated ownership of both revenue and cost components of a P&L, with deep cost-side fluency
- Demonstrable track record of delivering high quality output in an environment that can be fluid and uncertain
- Strong numeracy: comfort with metrics, financial reporting, and working with large datasets
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills both internally and in a client- or investor-facing context
- Founder/entrepreneur sense of prioritization and urgency, whether you have been a founder (a plus!) or not.
- Experience directly managing frontline and field-based teams, such as drivers and dispatch
- Ability to work across teams including operations, engineering, and infrastructure to build scalable solutions
- High comfort level working through complex datasets independently; SQL or Excel fluency expected
Nice To Haves
- Prior operations management, logistics, or business operations experience
- Comfort writing SQL queries and building own datasets rather than needing others to do it.
