About The Position

Under general supervision, design and develop training and educational programs in connection with workforce and management development, process improvement, on-the-job training and operator development and certification. PPlan and coordinate training needs assessments, management inventories, appraisals, placement and counseling. Maintains records of training activities and employee progress and monitors effectiveness of programs. Design and develop in-house programs, as well as, coordinate participation in outside training programs by organization employees. Provide overall guidance for training and development activities throughout the facility.

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires at least 1 year related experience.
  • Solid and current knowledge of adult learning techniques, needs assessments and training program development.
  • Proven track record as an effective change agent required – bringing about positive change by using influential power (vs. organizational authority).
  • Must have demonstrated ability to work with teams and facilitate their development.
  • Must be computer literate and have proficient knowledge relative to Microsoft Word, Excel and Project.
  • Strong verbal and written skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers required.
  • Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours with little or no advance notice required.
  • Self-discipline and an ability to perform all required tasks with a minimum of direct supervision required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with MS Outlook, Access and SAP a plus.
