Under general supervision, design and develop training and educational programs in connection with workforce and management development, process improvement, on-the-job training and operator development and certification. P Plan and coordinate training needs assessments, management inventories, appraisals, placement and counseling. Maintains records of training activities and employee progress and monitors effectiveness of programs. Design and develop in-house programs, as well as, coordinate participation in outside training programs by organization employees. Provide overall guidance for training and development activities throughout the facility.

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires at least 1 year related experience.
  • Solid and current knowledge of adult learning techniques, needs assessments and training program development.
  • Proven track record as an effective change agent required – bringing about positive change by using influential power (vs. organizational authority).
  • Must have demonstrated ability to work with teams and facilitate their development.
  • Must be computer literate and have proficient knowledge relative to Microsoft Word, Excel and Project.
  • Strong verbal and written skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers required.
  • Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours with little or no advance notice required.
  • Self-discipline and an ability to perform all required tasks with a minimum of direct supervision required.

  • Experience with MS Outlook, Access and SAP a plus.
