About The Position

Leidos Health and Services Sector currently has an opening for a Regional Field Consultant Manager to work remotely. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Military OneSource mission. The Military OneSource Program provides 24/7 support services for military members and their families, similar to a commercial Employee Assistance Program (EAP). This program provides a broad array of information, resources, education, referrals, and counseling to about 4.7 million participants which includes military service members, their families, and eligible civilians at locations worldwide. The Military OneSource program serves as a “one source” for resource and information encompassing a comprehensive support system. The Regional Field Consultant Manager leads, directs, and oversees the performance management and service delivery of all Field Consultants within their assigned region. This role: Develops and implements strategies and corrective measures to maximize outreach and coordination efforts for Service members and their families across all Components, with particular emphasis on participants who are geographically isolated from installation-based support. Manages BOSS requests that detail event attendance requirements for Field Consultants. Plans and manages schedules and travel for Field Consultants within the region, as directed and approved by the Government. Coordinates closely with the Regional Outreach OA Coordinator to support on-demand event planning and scheduling based on Government-required and approved event support requests. Manages and tracks the workflow and travel of Field Consultants within the region and audits and oversees assessed needs and services delivered to ensure outreach efforts are maximized. Monitors the quality and timely creation and submission of Field Consultant data and reports within the STIG-compliant and SCAP-validated ServiceNow platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in outreach program management, field operations, or service delivery within a military or government-support environment.
  • Minimum of three years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of military community programs and services.
  • Experience coordinating travel, scheduling, and event logistics across geographically dispersed regions.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience using ServiceNow or similar case management and reporting platforms.
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships and deliver solutions
  • Ability to exhibit strong business and financial acumen
  • Ability to develop strategy, plan and prioritize work aligned to program/organization goals, and deliver solutions for the business

  • Proficient in navigating electronic systems, computer programs, and virtual service platforms.
  • This position requires a separate, quiet, private, confidential space to work from, as well as having access to your own reliable high-speed internet hard wired to your home (coax or fiber from the Internet Service Provider (ISP) to your home.) Using a hot spot from a mobile device (tethering) or wireless ISP is not acceptable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, direct, and oversee the performance management and service delivery of Field Consultants within the assigned region.
  • Develop and implement regional outreach strategies to maximize coordination and engagement with Service members and their families, particularly those geographically isolated from installation-based support.
  • Manage and track BOSS requests detailing Government-required event attendance and outreach support for Field Consultants.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee Field Consultant schedules and travel within the region in accordance with Government approvals and operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Outreach OA Coordinator to support on-demand event planning and ensure timely execution of approved outreach activities.
  • Monitor and audit assessed participant needs and services delivered to ensure outreach efforts are effective and aligned with program objectives.
  • Track workflow, travel, and event participation metrics to ensure efficient utilization of Field Consultant resources.
  • Ensure timely and accurate creation, documentation, and submission of Field Consultant data and reports within the STIG-compliant and SCAP-validated ServiceNow platform.
  • Identify performance trends and implement corrective actions to enhance outreach effectiveness and service delivery.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and performance oversight to Field Consultants to maintain high-quality engagement and compliance with program standards.
  • Escalate high-visibility issues or performance concerns to program leadership as appropriate.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned based on business needs.
