What this job involves The Regional Project Lead is responsible for managing and growing a team of professionals to execute projects to the highest standards for a new client. This role requires proven experience in real estate/construction project management and/or move (RPM/MAC) project management, providing leadership, direction, and strategic guidance to the team while ensuring client satisfaction and compliance with contractual requirements. The position involves attracting, retaining, developing, and managing a team of professionals for a client-specific region, creating and approving staffing plans, and ensuring training and development in firm procedures and practices. The successful candidate will manage relationships with key client regional leadership, provide strategic direction and product line quality initiatives, and monitor vendor and project team performance to ensure all deliverables meet contractual requirements, regulatory standards, and client expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Real Estate, Construction Management, Business, or related discipline)
  • Proven experience in real estate/construction project management and/or move (RPM/MAC) project management
  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to manage and grow a team of professionals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive client relationships and manage key stakeholder expectations
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies, procedures, and practices
  • Ability to make independent judgments and decisions related to operating procedures and project execution

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced knowledge of relevant software applications including MS Office suite and project management software
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Experience creating and managing staffing plans for large-scale client accounts
  • Background in training and developing project management teams
  • Knowledge of best practices and standards of excellence in real estate/construction project management
  • Experience working with regulatory entities and ensuring compliance across multiple projects
  • Familiarity with vendor management and performance monitoring systems

Responsibilities

  • Attracting, retaining, developing, and managing a team of professionals for a client-specific region while providing leadership and direction across client teams and geographies
  • Creating and approving staffing plans while ensuring training and development of team members in the skills and understanding of firm procedures, methodology, and practices
  • Managing relationships with key client regional leadership, ensuring leadership is fully and accurately informed of all project, internal, and client issues affecting perception
  • Building and maintaining positive working relationships with all client representatives and service providers while monitoring and managing vendor and project team performance
  • Providing strategic direction and product line quality initiatives to ensure timely and accurate execution of project deliverables across the team
  • Recommending, establishing, or refining best practices and standards of excellence while making independent judgments related to operating procedures impacting assigned projects
  • Ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, regulatory entities, and client expectations across all projects and team activities
