You will work as part of an engineering & facilities team at multi-million sq ft regional client portfolio with critical environments managed by JLL. This a is a client facing role that requires a well rounded engineering leader.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in building repair and maintenance, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Proficiency in CMMS systems and engineering management software tools
  • Ability to analyze system operations, troubleshoot problems, and implement corrective actions with incident management experience
  • Universal CFC certification required
  • Strong computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) and excellent communication and customer service abilities

Nice To Haves

  • 2 year college degree, Trade school education, or union training in electrical system design, refrigeration and HVAC
  • People management experience; especially as a Maintenance Manager or Chief Engineer or similar roles
  • Military experience (e.g., Army Prime Power, Navy ET/Nuke, Air Force HVAC/Power Pro Electrician)
  • Proven work experience maintaining critical data center infrastructure, equipment, and systems (UPS, emergency generators, switchgears, & chiller plants)
  • Experience with Corrigo

Responsibilities

  • Oversee maintenance and operation of all building systems (fire/life safety, HVAC, electrical, digital systems, A/V) utilizing staff and external vendors as needed
  • Supervise and manage engineering staff including hiring, training, and development while implementing safety training programs and hazard remediation
  • Develop and execute documented maintenance plans incorporating preventive, predictive, and reactive procedures to meet facility objectives
  • Assist in capital planning for infrastructure upgrades, equipment replacements, and building modifications while ensuring proper project execution
  • Maintain all infrastructure documentation, compliance records, building drawings, and regulatory requirements per Federal, State, and Local laws
  • Oversee contractor activities and ensure proper training, notification, and adherence to critical facility work authorization processes
  • Monitor vendor performance, evaluate pricing and quality, review service request summaries, and maintain accurate inventory and equipment records
