Regional Engineering Manager - JLL What this job involves: Lead and manage engineering operations across the East/NCR regional portfolio, ensuring optimal performance, compliance, and client satisfaction while driving operational excellence and team development. What your day-to-day will look like: Support day-to-day engineering operations across multiple properties while ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and codes Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs, optimize energy management systems, and coordinate emergency response procedures Serve as primary engineering contact for clients and property management teams, providing technical expertise and resolving complex engineering issues Manage vendor relationships and participate in regional engineering budget development and capital expenditure planning Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers Provide technical guidance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and building automation systems Assist with major capital projects, conduct building assessments, and recommend system improvements Ensure all work meets JLL standards and client requirements through regular property inspections and audits Implement and monitor safety protocols while maintaining accurate documentation and reporting systems Carry out supervisory responsibilities including hiring, training, performance management, and problem resolution in accordance with JLL policies and applicable laws

Requirements

  • 5+ of JLL engineering experience, IFM or equivalent industry experience
  • 3+ supervisory experience or experience as a Lead Engineer.
  • Must possess a thorough knowledge of data center HVAC, electrical, plumbing, automation, and life safety/fire protection systems.
  • Must have a thorough understanding of all data center related codes and standards.
  • Must be able to professionally interact with tenants and contractors.
  • Moderate knowledge of a variety of manual trades such as carpentry, electromechanical repair, etc.
  • Ability to use drawings, specifications, shop math and various measuring or testing instruments.
  • Ability to Climb a ladder with a 300-lb weight limit
  • Must be able to work different schedules
  • Must be able to work Holidays
  • Must be able to respond to site emergencies
  • Must be able to be on the On-Call rotation.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous military experience a plus to include Army Prime Power , Air Force HVAC/Power Pro Electrician.
  • Familiarity using CMMS Corrigo or Service Now
