About The Position

The Regional Development Manager is responsible for growing GreenSpace Recycling through strong relationships, practical problem-solving, and consistent follow-through. This is a relationship-based development role that works directly with property managers, ownership groups, and community partners to develop new business and strengthen existing accounts. The focus is on creating sustainable waste and recycling solutions for commercial and multifamily properties while supporting client partnerships and internal teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Growth must align with long-term fit and real operational capacity, not high-pressure sales. You’ll spend time in the field and on-site, working closely with Operations to ensure what we promise is what we can deliver. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, account management, or client-facing leadership
  • Comfortable working independently in the field and coordinating across teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused attitude and follow-through
  • Organized, steady, and practical in approach
  • Able to balance growth goals with operational realities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in waste management, property services, logistics, or related fields preferred

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with property managers, owners, and community partners
  • Identify and pursue qualified growth opportunities in assigned markets
  • Conduct site visits and walkthroughs to understand waste and recycling needs
  • Develop and present proposals and pricing in partnership with the COO and Operations
  • Coordinate closely with Operations to ensure smooth onboarding and accurate service setup
  • Maintain organized records of outreach, proposals, and agreements using approved tracking tools
  • Follow up with clients after launch to confirm service quality and address issues
  • Participate in community and industry events as part of ongoing relationship building
  • Provide regular updates on activity, progress, and opportunities
