The Homelessness Prevention and Community Support (PCS) within the Homelessness Prevention Administration is responsible for the oversight and collaboration with our homelessness prevention partners, providing comprehensive programs to combat the many drivers of homelessness, avoid, shelter entry and re-entry, prevent eviction, and keep families and individuals stably housed within their community. PCS has oversight and administers over 70 million dollars in Homelessness Prevention Contracts, including our network of Homebase providers and several other community-based organizations providing Homelessness Prevention Services. Under supervision of the Director of PCS, with latitude for independent action, works closely with divisional, cross-systems and community partners. The incumbent is responsible for supporting programming for Homelessness Prevention and Community Aftercare Support, including the Homebase programs, practice standards, and government rental supplements/subsidies, that keep families and individuals stably housed in the community.
