About The Position

Regional Delivery Driver (Goshen, IN) Position Requirements & Responsibilities: (These requirements are in addition to any and all Viewrail employment requirements and policies.)

Requirements

• Valid Driver License (CDL not required)
• For Hire Endorsement (Company will pay for test)
• DOT Physical (Provided by company if not currently obtained)
• Ability to lift at least 70 lbs
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Ability to drive and operate a 26’ box truck with lift gate
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
• Knowledge or willing to learn applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• No recent moving or driving violations
• No OWI’s within the last 5 years
• Strong communication skills
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.)

Responsibilities

• Operate 26­ foot box truck with 8 foot lift gate
• Transport and deliver product to customers with a white glove level of service
• Set every job site up for success
• Operate forklift
• Stage loads for delivery
• Load trucks for delivery
• Transport and deliver product between 5 different plant locations within a 1 mile radius
• Assist in shipping as needed (handrail packaging, unload trucks and scan items to bay locations).
• Maintain a paper or electronic log book as appropriate
• Perform vehicle inspections as needed
• Other job related duties as assigned
