About The Position

This position is primarily responsible for the oversight and direction of an entire assigned lending territory including origination, development and maintenance of profitable business relationships, developing, implementing, interpreting and maintaining lending policies and procedures and ensuring all lending programs comply with federal and state regulations as well as Bank policy. The incumbent is part of the senior management team and participates in the Bank’s overall management and planning.

Requirements

  • BA or BS
  • Minimum Years Experience: 10
  • Excellent management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to use a personal computer and job-related software
  • MS Word - Basic Level
  • MS Excel - Intermediate Level
  • MS PowerPoint - Basic Level
  • Experience in banking, finance or a related field.
  • Knowledge of banking regulatory and compliance issues preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provides loan underwriting and structuring guidance and support for an assigned lending region.
  • Reviews underwriting requests for compliance with Bank policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Provides credit approval for requests within defined lending authority that meet the Bank’s underwriting standards and lending objectives.
  • Supports the Bank’s established lending goals while maintaining desired asset quality levels.
  • Assists with the mentoring, guidance and support of assigned lending team.
  • Assists and mentors credit analysts as needed with difficult credit underwriting issues.
  • Assists lending staff in identifying appropriate risk ratings.
  • Assist in managing criticized assets.
  • Monitors loan exception items for assigned regions and work with lending team to resolve.
  • Monitors regional credit quality issues such as delinquency, etc.
  • Participates as a member of SACC for respective regional credits.
  • Assists with review, analysis and integration of acquisition opportunities.
  • Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
