About The Position

Reporting to the Director of Credit, the Regional Credit Manager is responsible for all aspects of A/R portfolio management.

Requirements

  • Successful candidates must have a number of years of related work experience
  • Sound credit, collection and/or customer service skills
  • Must have excellent communication and computer skills
  • A track record of being responsive to both internal and external customers
  • Must be self-motivated, flexible, and able to work in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Releasing orders within approved limits and sets limits within a proper risk/reward framework
  • Reviews credit limits as needed, escalates accounts over approved limits, provides detailed documentation of decisions in Mincron and/or the customer file
  • Recognizes departmental, and company, objectives and works toward meeting and exceeding these objectives (ie electronic invoicing and on-line payments).
  • Timely collection calls based on departmental standards. Regular and persistant follow-up efforts on more deliquient and/or probem accounts
  • Effectivily communciates to customers our collection goals and requirements in a professional and businesslike manner, either directly or via email. Maintains favorable relationships with all customers.
  • Recognizes that we are a sales driven organization and works to help foster an oustanding relationship between sales and credit through open, timely and proactive communciation
  • Works well within a small department/team environment. Participates in providing coverage for fellow RCM's as needed. Offer suggestions/alternatives for improving the operations of the department and company. Volunteers for additional projects as time allows.
