About The Position

This is a W-2 role for experienced CDL A Drivers with a Michigan-based, family-owned trucking company. Qualified candidates will be interviewed and hired immediately. Drivers are required to report to the terminal in Jenison to begin their weekly runs, and trucks are not permitted to be taken home. The position involves 5 days out with a minimum 34-hour reset each week, offering flexible scheduling with at least 2 loads per week, departing on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday. It operates on a non-forced dispatch system. The primary operating area is the Eastern region, covering Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, with occasional routes into New York, New Jersey, and Delaware, and no runs into New York City are required. Most drivers complete 2 trips per week, typically to Eastern PA or NY/NJ, aiming for 2,700–3,300 miles weekly.

Requirements

Must be fully willing to run the East (no NYC required, but East is mandatory)
Must be able to run two trips weekly, totaling 2,600–3,300 miles
Valid, up-to-date Class A CDL
No more than 3 jobs in the last 2 years (layoffs, closures, unemployment reviewed case-by-case)
At least 2 years of CDL A driving experience (local applies)

Responsibilities

Report to the terminal in Jenison to start their run each week
Run at least 2 loads per week, leaving Sat, Sun, Mon, or Tue
Operate within the Eastern region covering MI, OH, and PA, with occasional runs into NY, NJ, and DE
Complete two trips weekly, totaling 2,600–3,300 miles
