Regional CDL-A Driver
About The Position
This regional CDL-A driving position offers steady miles, predictable home time, and consistent dry van freight primarily throughout the Southwest. Drivers can expect to average between 2,000 and 2,400 miles per week with minimal driver handling required due to a strong drop-and-hook network. The company assigns modern equipment, including Freightliner and Kenworth units, and plans routes to maximize driving hours and reduce downtime. The role emphasizes consistency in both miles and income, with weekly pay via direct deposit and performance-based bonuses. New drivers with a CDL-A are welcome and will receive a structured paid training program lasting several weeks, with a clear path to transition into a solo truck.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required
- At least 6 months of tractor-trailer experience or entry-level with CDL-A
- Must pass DOT physical and drug test
- Professional and safety-oriented approach to driving
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle
- Handle pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Keep logs and trip information updated
- Meet delivery schedules and communicate with dispatch
