About The Position

The selected candidate will manage the CapEx spend from projects up to $5M across all our Company divisions (our Company's Manufacturing Division, Global Workspace and Enterprise Services and our Research & Development division Global Clinical Development for Southeast & part of Northeast US. This position will be the liaison between the sites and ultimately to the Global Cap Ex team, ensuring the correct sourcing and execution of projects and 100% compliance with processes and policies. The candidate will be required to provide primary expertise in Capital sourcing, stakeholder engagement and management and performance improvement of the capital spend and ensure complete understanding of our requirements and expectations in strategic assistance. The successful implementation of this role requires developing direct relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers, while driving transformational changes and adherence to our procurement policies and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and policies.
  • Experience in complex supplier negotiations.
  • Experience in capital expenditure projects is a plus
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to effectively communicate complex topics to varied audiences.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to lead and manage change in a dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to sustainability and environmental goals.

Responsibilities

  • Train stakeholders on our processes and policies and ensure adherence to these processes.
  • Collaborate with site teams to understand the Long-range Capital plan, and build our projects pipeline
  • Support the building and approval of Project Procurement Plans (PPPs) for each capital project to ensure upfront alignment on the sourcing strategy.
  • Lead sourcing projects to deliver optimal value to the company (cost, timelines, execution, etc.).
  • Drive increases in varied spend.
  • Perform supplier negotiations to support projects and deliver best value.
  • Monitor key suppliers through a set of agreed KPIs and perform Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Develop, support, and execute a comprehensive regional and local strategy in line with the global strategy, including supplier management, compliance, risk management, varied spend, and stakeholder management.
  • Stay at the forefront of sustainability best practices, regulations, and industry trends, ensuring our sustainability approach is cutting-edge and aligned with emerging opportunities.
