The Regional Business Partner is a proficient HR generalist who provides operational People support across multiple locations. With a focus on delivering consistent, high-quality execution of people processes and policies, this role supports front-line and middle level leaders on day-to-day people matters, helps prevent and manage employee relations cases, and ensures local practices remain compliant and fit for purpose. Operating with growing autonomy, this role is key to creating a consistent and effective employee experience across regions. It contributes to the successful implementation of global people initiatives, supports leaders in resolving people-related challenges, and plays an important role in risk mitigation, compliance, and regional alignment.

Requirements

  • A skilled HR professional with experience across the employee lifecycle, ideally gained in fast paced, scaling technology business
  • Knowledge of the UK employment regulations and legislative framework (essential)
  • Confident advising and supporting leaders on a wide range of people matters, including employee relations cases, performance management, and wellbeing.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working with autonomy while knowing when to escalate or seek guidance.
  • A clear, credible communicator who can build trust and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized, diligent, and with strong attention to detail, maintaining a commitment to operational excellence in all processes, documentation, and compliance.
  • Analytical and data-informed, able to interpret workforce metrics to proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Pragmatic, solutions-focused, and resilient, with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Fluent in English

Nice To Haves

  • Experience of administrating visa processing and certificates of sponsorship (desirable)

Responsibilities

  • Advise and support on people-related issues including underperformance, wellbeing, sickness absence, and other employee concerns.
  • Manage complex or sensitive cases in collaboration with the regional and business partnering team and the Legal team where required, ensuring stakeholder management, involvement and communication throughout the case.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for tactical people-related guidance and employee case management.
  • Proactively analyze data and insights to identify trends and systemic issues, informing conversations with leaders to prevent case escalation and flag risks requiring intervention.
  • Build effective cross-functional relationships and influence operational outcomes through strong logic, insight, and follow-through.
  • Ensure local HR policies and processes are accurate, compliant, and consistently applied across geographies.
  • Partner with Legal and Centers of Expertise (CoEs) to ensure employment terms, handbooks, and practices meet legislative requirements and internal standards.
  • Sign off on terms and agreements in line with local processes and governance frameworks, including engagement with trade unions or works councils where needed.
  • Ensure employment policies, practices, and decisions remain compliant with local employment law
  • Design and implement scalable HR templates, tools, and processes to drive operational efficiency and ensure a consistent employee experience across all supported regions.
  • Supporting Visa applications and Right to Work
  • Co-ordinating the administration and end-to-end processing of visa applications including ensuring compliance of right to work checks
