Regional Business Manager Automobile Club Enterprises is seeking a career-minded individual for our Regional Business Manager opportunity in East Central. The Regional Business Manager (RBM) will support the Market and their assigned Region in organizational growth, profitability, member service and compliance. RBMs are responsible for leading their assigned region to attain all performance objectives, including insurance production, travel production, membership production, retention, accuracy, service quality, profitability, and MRM performance. The RBM is responsible for managing, motivating and coaching Business Sales Managers and Branch Business Managers in insurance, branch and travel expertise. In addition, RMs are responsible for developing business plans, sharing best practices, performance management, lead distribution management, as well as supporting state and regional projects. This position collaborates with the Vice President of Insurance, Managing Director Branch Operations, Regional Managers, and other business unit managers to develop strategy, initiatives, and implementation of processes to achieve organizational goals including the profitability of the region through the achievement of sales, service, and expense goals. Successful candidates have the following qualifications: 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Minimum 3 years Sales Agent plus 2 years IBM experience with ACE. A documented history of success in a professional sales environment required. Effectively communicate rationale behind strategies, explain directives and define operational / administrative policies accurately and clearly. Enforce performance management standards. Ensure employee development is achieved through coaching, monitoring and training. Ensure management staff remains current with any changes in policy or procedure. Oversee that management is conducting individual and group meetings, encouraging employees to support culture and values, embrace changes, as well as to foster discussion on current policies, procedures, objectives and goals. Create an operating environment conducive to high employee satisfaction, employee development/growth and retention. Develop and implement recruiting and succession plans to ensure key positions are staffed with talented individuals as vacancies occur. Direct Managers in appropriate staffing levels, position types and administration of compensation to ensure compliance with Club and legal requirements. Attend Leadership Meetings to provide status on regional results, challenges, best practices and business plans, as well as receive updates on initiatives. Conduct group meetings with Team to share best practices, discuss challenges, review standings and results, communicate organizational or procedural changes, solicit feedback, and provide coaching & training. Regional Managers support the MRM Strategy by implementing business plans that encourage staff to best serve our members by providing legendary service and offering the right products, to the right member, at the right time.
