About The Position

Welcome to Dickey's Barbecue! The ultimate responsibility of this role will be to ensure success (positive sales and profitability) in each assigned franchise location. This will be accomplished by coaching, guiding, assisting and/or mentoring franchisees by focusing on operational execution, execution of the Dickey's business model, store financial strength (i.e. labor and cost of goods management), the importance of community involvement and grass roots marketing. This role will be responsible for an assigned district of restaurants and will be evaluated based upon ability to achieve sales and profit growth within each store in the district while building solid business relationships with the franchisees in the assigned district. This is a hands-on role requiring overnight travel both in and out of state, when not traveling, this role will work out of the Home Office location in the Knox/Henderson/uptown area of Dallas.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years multi-unit restaurant management
  • Franchise leadership experience (10+ locations)
  • Ability to travel over night both in and out of state up to 50%
  • Thrive in a results-driven business environment
  • Outstanding follow up
  • This role requires living in the Dallas metro area, there is no relocation being offered.

Responsibilities

  • Lead franchise owners to success
  • Build rapport and trust to maintain long-term relationships with franchisees
  • Interpret information from reporting systems and utilize the data to identify and enforce operational standard opportunities (i.e. sales building, labor scheduling, COGs, etc.)
  • Enforce compliance of franchise location adherence to all company standards
  • Accountability for sales and profitability of assigned franchise locations
  • Confirm and verify financial stability of each location
  • Analyze store and district level results, present results and action plans to Owner/Operators and Company leadership
  • Travel as necessary to audit/guide/mentor/enforce standards and compliance
  • Meet and/or exceed monthly sales and check count commitments at store and district level
  • Meet and/or exceed monthly KPI metrics at store and district level
  • Create sales building plans for assigned stores – increasing existing customer frequency and engaging new customers
  • Drive overall quality and brand standards at all levels through direct initiatives
  • Implement, execute, manage and assertively follow up on operational brand strategies that enhance the profitability at store and district levels
  • Collaborate and work in conjunction with other departments for overall growth and success of the operations department and team
  • Maintain budget controls on all operations activities tied to district
