About The Position

Job Summary Responsible for managing the sales function and regional sales team within designated geographic area. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs. Create an environment that emphasizes and fosters high performance, learning and professional growth to ensure the retention and development of top sales talent. Execute business and sales strategies. Responsible for adhering to defined budget for sales function and marketing initiatives. Leverage knowledge of industry and regional market to assess challenges and opportunities within assigned territory. Provide feedback to team members regarding job performance and professional development. Onboard, train, and coach sales team members as needed to develop capabilities and skills. Collaborate with Human Resources to implement performance improvement plans when team members’ job performance does not meet expectation. Effectively and consistently communicate with sales management and various other departments. Responsible for effective regional planning to achieve development of current accounts, cultivate new accounts and produce adequate sales volumes to meet/exceed sales goals. Achieve minimum growth sales requirement for designated geographic area. Responsible to be a motivating leader to the sales force on the entire product line and in the marketplace. Maintain constant communication with supervisor and direct reports and report all developments as they occur; i.e., customers, competition and market changes. Monitor and ensure both compliance with and documentation of compliance with Cynosure’s policies and procedures as outlined in various Company policies, including the Global Approval Authority Matrix and other mandatory policies pursuant to one’s job description. Embody and deliver the “Exceptional Everyday”

Requirements

  • 5+ years selling capital equipment with focus on high volume B2B sales preferably in aesthetic capital equipment or energy-based devices.
  • Proven track record of success as a District Sales Manager or equivalent field sales leadership role.
  • 2 years of experience over achieving quota as a lead of a territory/district. (equivalent of Cynosure Lutronic District Sales Manager)
  • 2+ years people management experience/first-line management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor sales professionals, driving both individual and team performance.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with leadership, marketing, and operations teams.
  • Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills are essential to motivate and direct sales force to meet goals.
  • Must be an expert at sales skills.
  • Demonstrated sales accomplishments in a capital equipment environment.
  • Experience developing relationships with customers.
  • Must be a self-starter, highly motivated and organized.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
