About The Position

The office of Enrollment Services at Eastern Washington University invites applications for a Regional Admissions Advisor to support EWU’s Office of Admissions . The Office of Admissions at EWU strives to meet undergraduate freshmen and transfer numbers that reflect Eastern Washington University’s mission of transformation, opportunities and excellence, and make EWU an exemplary diversity serving institution for future students . The Regional Admissions Advisor will be responsible for recruitment of prospective students for Eastern Washington University through territory management, travel, prospective student communication, admissions presentations, and file review. The territory of work consists of yet but is not limited to freshmen and transfer students in the following counties: Island, San Juan, Skagit, Snohomish, and Whatcom, and the state of California, in addition to transfer students in King County. This position is located in Everett, Washington (Washington State) or one of the territory’s counties. A successful candidate for the Regional Admissions Advisor position should be passionate about helping people and fulfilling their needs in the moment, be able to maintain detailed and up-to-date understanding of assigned programs and responsibilities, demonstrate a positive attitude toward work assignments, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Requirements

Candidate must demonstrate interest, ability and/or experience promoting cultural competency, universal accessibility, and/or diversity.
Bachelor’s degree
Ability to participate in evening and weekend events and multi-day recruitment trips, which will require a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, pay attention to detail and produce desired results
Ability to communicate in a clear, friendly and effective manner both orally and in writing
Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures regarding admission and records management
Ability to work independently and as a member of an integrated team
Capacity to effectively address diverse constituencies
Advanced computer skills to include: Microsoft Office Suite, proficient user of laptop computer, projector, and cell phone
Position will require extensive sitting and walking

Valid Driver License
