About The Position

Praxis Health is seeking a senior-level leader to serve as part of a regional leadership team, providing clinical and business operations oversight for multiple primary care and specialty care clinics in Eugene, Salem, and surrounding markets. This role is responsible for the overall performance of the Willamette Valley region, including profit and loss accountability, team engagement, advancement of value-based primary care models, and the delivery of an exceptional patient experience. The ideal candidate is operations-oriented and brings at least five years of experience working in a primary care environment, with exposure to value-based or population health–focused care models, along with a proven track record of physician partnership and healthcare system leadership (preferably across multiple markets). This leader is objective, directive-driven, and well prepared to optimize system models that support high-quality, cost-effective care and the long-term success of Praxis Health’s Willamette Valley Region. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, Business Administration, Health Administration, or commensurate experience.
  • 5+ Years’ experience managing employees in a Primary Care clinic setting or preferred equivalent.
  • At least five years of experience working in a primary care environment, with exposure to value-based or population health–focused care models.
  • Proven track record of physician partnership and healthcare system leadership (preferably across multiple markets).

Responsibilities

  • Design region specific objectives and relevant initiatives that support the corporate strategy and strengthen processes and operations.
  • Demonstrate expertise while serving as an open-minded leader with an entrepreneurial mentality.
  • Provide oversight of regional clinic employees, directly manage directors/ supervisors who are responsible for day-to-day operations, including performance management and talent acquisition of physicians and advanced practice providers.
  • Develop system models in support of clinic and regional operations.
  • Inspire out of the box thinking by the team who will create opportunities and continuous improvement.
  • Attract and recruit medical providers and support ancillary services in an employment, partnership, or management model.
  • Interpret available data to make informed decisions as it relates to predictive analytics, AI models, and operational dashboards.
  • In accordance with the CEO, develop and implement strategic initiatives.
  • Manage a budget that ensures profitability and focuses on cost containment strategies.
  • Represent the organization with local and state agencies that may impact our ability to be successful.
  • Monitor local, state, and national health care environment for threats or opportunities and implement adaptive strategies.
  • Other duties may be assigned as the needs of the team and organization evolve.
