About The Position

At Legacy Hospice, our mission is to provide compassionate and expert end-of-life care for patients and families. Were seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Administrator (RN) to oversee the clinical operations of multiple branches, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead with integrity and heart. As a Regional Administrator, you will provide strategic leadership and clinical oversight across assigned hospice branches. This role supports Branch Administrators, guides interdisciplinary care teams, ensures compliance, and drives performance improvement across clinical programs.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the state of employment
  • Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role
  • Prior experience in hospice or home health strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Active BLS certification
  • Valid drivers license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Self-motivated and comfortable managing multiple sites and priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in nursing or a related field preferred
  • Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee direct and indirect clinical care delivery for multiple branch locations
  • Provide leadership and support to Branch Administrators and clinical staff
  • Collaborate with business development to strengthen referral relationships and census
  • Monitor operational indicators and support budget planning and expense management
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and staff development programs
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accrediting body regulations
  • Supervise clinical documentation and recordkeeping practices
  • Conduct performance evaluations and mentor branch leadership
  • Serve as acting Branch Administrator as needed
  • Provide hands-on RN case management support when required
  • Promote a culture of compassion, accountability, and clinical excellence
