As a member of the Corporate Accounting team, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for leading the global intercompany accounting process; preparing journal entries and performing balance sheet account reconciliations; leading government financial reporting process; and preparing analytical reports as needed. Your work will include, but not be limited to: Performing monthly intercompany invoicing using Lear’s intercompany invoicing system, facilitate payment of balances, reconcile balances with corresponding intercompany locations, and assist with dispute resolution during close. Building a good working relationship with global finance and accounting teams related to intercompany related items. Preparing balance sheet general ledger account reconciliations using various accounting systems. Assisting Managers of Corporate Accounting with recording standard and non-standard journal entries on a monthly and quarterly basis. Tracking, preparing, and filing various monthly and quarterly government financial reports. Developing ad hoc reports and analysis as requested by management. Interfacing with Lear’s accounting and finance team in the Philippines on a consistent basis related to month-end close activities. The Corporate Accounting team is a perfect area for anyone who is looking to get overall exposure to Lear’s global accounting and finance processes. Continuous exposure to senior management like Chief Accounting Officer or VP of Accounting, and working with cross functional teams including Treasury, FP&A, and Tax.
